Sviper uses Backendless for managing in-app purchases and pub/sub messages. If a user gets a non-US mobile number with Twilio for SMS, when you send an SMS to that number Twilio calls the Sviper’s PHP callback URL which then publishes a message to Backendless which has the Android SDK running on the virtual Android instance. The SDK in the virtual devices receives the message and injects it as a normal SMS into the OS. As a result, SMS verification for Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and many other services work flawlessly.
Simply put, Sviper gives you two phones in one. You get a virtual Android smartphone that lives in the cloud with its own phone number. By opening the Sviper app you can instantly connect to it and it’s like you’re looking at a different screen of all a sudden.
